First phase of TOTAL E&P UK project nears completion

MBA has supported the first phase of the TOTAL E&P UK revised Competence Assurance Management System (CAMS) at St Fergus Gas Terminal.

The project, which commenced in summer 2011, will see all personnel at the site fully assessed by the end of January 2012.

Throughout the project, MBA has provided day to day administration and consultancy support to TOTAL E&P UK's two technical assessors as they work through the assessment of the facility's personnel.

In addition, MBA has provided one day a week onsite support, meeting with relevant parties to monitor progress of the campaign and gain feedback from personnel in order to prepare a weekly stats report for TOTAL E&P UK's head of training and competency.

A formal presentation was held in November 2011 to award certificates to candidates who had completed their competency assessment.

Working together with TOTAL E&P UK's head of training and competency, MBA will assist in rolling out the project to three installations in the North Sea in early 2012. In doing so, a member of the MBA team will make monthly visits the offshore installations to support the assessors and meet with relevant parties to discuss all aspects of the CAMS campaign.
