OPITO approved Competence Management Systems are recognised by the oil and gas industry as being representative of ‘best in class' and are monitored annually against the agreed industry criteria to confirm ongoing quality assurance of the CMS system. MBA developed the competence standards with associated processes and procedures for more than 70% of the existing OPITO approved CMS systems, and we continue to support and manage more than 80% of OPITO approved Competence Management System globally.

MBA manages the competence assurance systems on behalf of a number of global organisations within the oil and gas industry.
